Recent Reads #5

Hello everyone, in today's post I'll be talking about my last reads well the ones I finished my year with, 5 books some were really good, others fun and one I couldn't finish, with no further do let's get started:

To kill a mockingbird by HARPER LEE:
A 5 starts book all the way, one of the best books I read in my life, because one, the story is about a nine years old girl and I like stories about children, I just relate to them and love them, two, the themes of the story are so touching, I cried by the way while reading and that doesn't happen much, three, the book is narrated by the main character and I like it when the book is narrated like that I just understand the story and the  character better.

1984 by GEORGE ORWELL:
George Orwell is a really famous writer, but I only knew his book "animal farm" and originally I was looking for it, but I didn't find it so I picked instead "1984", I'm glad I chosed it because it was just amazing, it's was the first time I read a book talking about a totalist regime, and it just opened my eyes on a lot of things in this world, this book depressed me for awile, and I couldn't read any book after it, but like they say reality is depressing. I also gave this book 5 stars, and I really want to read "animal farm" because I know it would be as interesting as "1984", but I'm a little afraid so I'm delaying reading it!!

Since I never really read a graphic novel, well I used to read manga but those don't count, I picked two ones from the library and they turned out to be really good. the first was;
Amours blessantes by KIRIKO NANANA:

Le marecage by CHOI KYU-SOK

The last book I started this year and coudn't finish was
Ainsi resonne l'echo infini des montagnes by KHALED HOSSEUNI:
I was really excited to read this book, I heard alot of good things about the auther from booktube but it didn't meet my expectations, I coudn't relate to the characters the book was really long I think I read more than 100 pages and I didn't feel like reading more, the story just wasn't that good for me.

So those were the books I concluded 2015 with, I hope this year would bring more good ones.
